No injuries in Wednesday semi accident An Illinois man escaped injury when the semi-truck he was driving overturned on Highway 257, near CR 400 N., early last Wednesday morning. Matthew Howder, 34, of Bridgeport, was driving north on Highway 257 at 2:53 a.m. with a load of turkeys when he got close to the side of the road, lost control, ran off the road into a ditch and overturned, according to Pike County Deputy Sheriff Mike Willis. The 2016 Peterbilt truck was owned by Tri-State Live Haul, Inc., of Celestine.
