On Thursday, May 21, the PCMS Technology Education Class held their final C02 Dragster Race for the school year. The classes held qualifying races to determine the top 18 cars made during class. Corey Gross won the race with a time of 0.98. Parker Knust came in second place with 1.002 of a second. Alexis Boyd came in third place with 1.077. Corey Gross stands next to the start of the track. Gross is a seventh grader in Mrs. Nicki Nalley's Technology Edu- cation class. Talon Seger shows off his C02 Car he made in Mrs. Nicki Nalley eighth grade Technology Education class. Jacob Harker was named TOP student in IXL for this year in sixth grade math. He completed 5,744 math prob- lems. The largest polyhedrons in the sixth grade were made by Ian Shoultz and Joshua Harker. These students each earned 100+ AR points this year in sixth grade. Emiley Rik- er, Kylie Meyer, Deacon Jenkins, Jessa Ridao, Trinity Lemond, Karley Gideon and Brooklyn McLaughlin. These are the TOP AR readers from each of Mrs. Waddell's LA classes for the fourth grading period. Math IXL champions for the school year, 27,587 math problems were answered by these sixth graders: Josh Harker, Brooklyn Query, Jacob Harker, Avery Vest and Jacob Smitson. Top Reader Award for 6th grade is Karley Gideon with 129.7 points.
