They are taught by Mrs. Susan Smith. Pictured are: Anna Ireland, Brylee Brogan, Kinley Stoffel, Keziah Doerner and Elle Schlottman. Barton Township Elementary School's fourth grade class participated in their yearly Earth Day Walk, picking up trash near the school. They are taught by Mrs. Diana Cox. Students participating in the Earth Day Walk include: Christian Tkacz, Presley Heichelbech, Josie Warner, Lexi Sandifar, Richard Gillihan, Harper Gray and Ha- ley Deisher. Mrs. Smith's sixth grade boys also designed a tiny town. Pictured are: Jesse Willis, Isaiah Richardt, Jackson VanMeter and Gage Stuck- ey. Pike Central Middle School Otwell Miller Academy The duck stamp contest is a nationwide art contest to choose the image that will be on the yearly "duck stamp." A duck stamp is required of waterfowl hunters, but non-hunters also buy the duck stamp to aid in conservation. 98 percent of every dollar goes toward conservation. The junior duck stamp likewise is a federal art contest to choose the image that will be on the junior duck stamp. The contest is open to youth artists from kin- dergarten through 18 years old. Indiana had 286 entries this year. Pike Central is proud of all their winners. Students from left to right are Gracie Hill, Josiah Ross, Kylon Bottoms, Kenadie Houchins, Hatti Yager, Kynlee Jackson, and Kira Clevenger. Alivia Dawson and Remi Troutman helped out in the front office at OMA on Monday morning. Rain showers brought in a extra visitor on Thursday morning. Ry- der Troutman thought our little green friend needed to tell everyone good morning!.
