Immediately thereaer, the Conservancy Board re- convened and held its annual reorganization meeting. Ron Like was re-elected Chairman of the Board, Dennis Eversoll was elected Vice-chairman, and Karen Elgin was re-appointed Financial Clerk. e Conservancy District filed their annual report with the Pike County Circuit Court and the Press- Dispatch in January as required. e meetings of the Board of Directors as pursuant to written call of the Chairman of the Board were held as required by the law; the Annual Meeting and Election was held January 15, 2020 at the Conservancy District's office located at 1035 E Co Rd 400 N, Petersburg Indiana; the USDA Rural Development contacted the Board that their 50 year loan with them was paid in full upon the last payment sent in December, 2019; the lower end of the main channel was mowed in June; Second Quarterly Meeting was held June 30, 2020; Karen Elgin attended the Department of Local Government Finance's budget workshop which was held virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions; second mowing along the channel was completed in August; ird Quarterly Meeting was held September 17, 2020; the Board reviewed the State Board of Accounts Audit Report of the 2016 through 2019 financial records of the Conservancy District with no problems being found; a Special Meeting was held October 1, 2020 for the public hearing on the 2021 budget and tax resolution; Fourth Quarterly Meeting was held October 12, 2020 for adoption of the 2021 budget and tax resolution, which was submitted through Gateway as required; a legal notice was placed in the October 28, 2020 issue of the Press Dispatch for nominations for the 2021 Annual Meeting Election of one Director with nominations due December 1, 2020; Kuester Engineering completed channel profile and cross-section surveys from State Highway 61 to White River with design information for riffles and slope stabilization projects on Prides Creek Channel, which will be used for permitting of projects with Indiana Dept. of Environmental Management (IDEM) and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); mowing of the channel slopes to control vegetative growth was completed in December; the Annual Meeting and Election is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2021 at the Prides Creek Conservancy District's office at 1035 E Co Rd 400 N, Petersburg, Indiana. (2) BUDGET. e Board of Directors proposed and submitted their budget, for the calendar year 2021, through Gateway as required following adoption by the Board on October 12, 2020. 1782 Notice approving the 2021 budget was received in December, 2020 from the Department of Local Government Finance and from the Pike County Auditor's office.
