Third grade student Weston Russell was all smiles while practic- ing his spelling words with shaving cream. American Education Week "We're All in This Together" theme was displayed in the halls. The students dec- orated cutouts of themselves and they held hands down the hallway. The students wrote different ways to be kind on hearts and hung them on the kindness tree in the hall during American Education Week. "Kindness is sweet and so are donuts" was the theme in Mrs. LeMond's classroom during Ameri- can Education Week. The class graphed their favor- ite kind of donut. Adan Sharp is in the middle of the taste test. Cinnamon donuts were the winner for the A Team and the chocolate donut won for the B team. Annabelle Zimmerman and A J Sharp look at their hands under the blacklight. They are checking for germs after us- ing germ-glo lotion and washing their hands. Staying safe was one of the topics covered during American Education Week's "We're All in This Together." Stihl Nalley gives School Resource Officer Kane Osgatharp a thank you picture he made for him.
