It is something we have to figure out how to change. We have enough tal- ent, we can compete with about everybody, but we have to go out and be tough both mentally and physically." The Charger junior varsi- ty came out flat in the prelim- inary contest, getting down 16 -6 in the first half and then staying in single-digit quar- ters for the 39 -15 loss. Ash- ton Evans and Braden How- ald were the ones lighting up the scoreboard in the first half and then Evans, Ethan Meadors and Jagar Dent each scored a basket in the third. Chase Ridao and Howald combined for a basket and a free throw respectively in the fourth. Evans finished with six points, Howald three, and Ridao, Dent and Meadors two each.
