Prom 2013 The Roaring 20's 1920's M aggie Hansen, senior, thought she was nominated for Prom Queen because she's pretty funny. Her favorite high school memory was the 'Pink Out' game when she hit a crazy 3-pointer which lead to them winning the game on senior night. Maggie has been involved in: Basketball, Volleyball, AAU Basketball, Club Volleyball, Showing Horses, and FFA. Her plans after high school include attending a junior college and playing basketball. If Maggie could bring a teacher to prom she would bring Mr. Schwabauer because they would probably have a good time. M itch Fox, senior, thought we was nominated for Prom King because of "grand design". His favorite high school memory is playing football with his "duuuuu's". Mitch has been involved in: Frosh Football and Baseball, JV Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Varsity Football and Baseball. His plans after high school is to attend a junior college with some of his best friends. If he could bring a teacher to prom he would bring Mrs. Tingley. H aley Harris, senior, thinks she was nominated for Prom Queen because she's a "pretty laid back student that gets along with all the teachers". Her favorite high school memory was winning the Section Championship game her freshman year. Haley has been involved in: Frosh/ JV Basketball, Varsity Softball (all four years), CSF, and ROP Sports Medicine. Her plans after high school are to attend UC Riverside and study something in the medical field. If Haley could take a teacher to prom it would be Mr. Hendricks. J essica Macdonald, senior, thinks she was nominated for Prom Queen because she's been a good student, and she's involved in a lot and she gets along well with everyone. Jessica's favorite high school memory was this year's basketball season because it was the best memory by far. But, the 'Pink Out' was by far the best out of it all. "The crowd went all out and it was crazy; they even got kicked out and when we won. They stormed the court. I will miss those games, they were ones to remember." said Macdonald. Jessica has been involved in: Volleyball, Basketball, CSF, 4-H, FFA, Pink Out, Nor Cal HERO Ride for Life, and Young Farmers and Ranchers. Her plans after high school include going to University of Nevada, Reno and becoming a registered nurse. If Jessica could take one teacher to prom it would be Mr. Hein. F redy Herrera, senior, has been involved in: Adult Soccer League/School Soccer, Mr. Spartan, Salsa Contest, Catering, Ide Adobe Docents, PAC Basketball/ Soccer, Spartan Radio and Rockin' Rhyno. When asked why he thought we was nominated, Herrera responded with, "I wouldn't have a clue. There are boys who seem more interesting than I am and none of the teachers told me I was even nominated." Fredy's favorite high school memory was when he was a sophomore and he sat in Bob's Bench for almost a month because he was rude to Mrs. Dehart, and that then resulted in him being turned into the office's TA. His plans after high school are to go to Shasta College because of its "great culinary program", and he then wants to apply for the Radio Station in Redding and hopes to be the "deejay" for the high school. If Fredy could take a teacher to prom it would be Mrs. Phillips because, "we became cool friends; I got to know a part of who she is and she knows me. Ever since, I've spent every break in her classroom." E gan Meagher, senior, thought he was nominated for Prom King because, "There is no one that can resist my sarcasm." His favorite high school memory was when he watched Mr. Evans turn on the taser that he confiscated from Austin Chase. Egan has been involved in: Bluffer, Swim team, Track and CSF. His plans after high school include becoming a fighter pilot and looking good in a uniform. If Egan could bring a teacher to prom it would be Ms. Pelanconi because, "it all started sophomore year and because I taught her everything she knows."
