He was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold G. Deal, Sr. Mr. Deal served our country in the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II. He was preced- ed in death by his three brothers, Harold, Carl and Myron Deal. Mr. Deal is survived by his wife, Betty Anne Deal of Kings Mountain and sons, Joseph Deal of San Francisco, CA and John Deal of Kings Mountain. He was born to the late Lewis and Jacqueline Terrell Kutchfar. Mr. Kutchfar is survived by his sons, Cody Kutchfar of Shelby, Michael Kutchfar of MN and Zachary Kutchfar of AK; brothers, Stephen Kutchfar and wife, Rebecca of Grover and Johnathan Kutchfar of SC; a grandson; and his grandmother. BILLIE FALLS WASHBURN Mrs. Billie Falls Washburn, age 86, of Boiling Springs passed away on April 17, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Andy Burgon and Helen Quarrier Smith Falls Sr. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Washburn is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Gene Washburn; a daugh- ter, Andrea Jo Washburn Hawkins; a grandson; a brother, A. B. Falls Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Hardin and Sarah Webb. Mrs. Washburn is sur- vived by a son, Dr. H. Gene "Rusty" Washburn Jr. and wife, Yvetta of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Charlene Washburn of Belmont and Sherry Washburn O'Shields and husband, Brian of Shelby; and four grandchil- dren. Ruth was born to the late Brantley Brackett and Nancy Pauline McNeilly Brackett. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. Bumgarner, Jr.; three broth- ers, Harrill, Jerry and Donald Brackett and a great-grand- daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Mary Ann Avery Blanton; and one brother, Jerry Avery. Mr. Blanton is survived by his spouse, Janata Blanton; two daughters, Tiffany Blanton and Shaunta Ware; three brothers, Ernest Blanton, Johnny Blanton and Frank Blanton; and two sisters, Ruth Blanton and Barbara Blanton. Robert served our country in the U.S. Army. RACHEL ELLIOTT Mrs. Rachel Womack Elliott, age 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on April 18, 2019. She was the daughter of the late George William and Julie Hollifield Womack. He was born in Union County, NC, to the late Samuel Brown Crump and Inez Mae Forbis. Mr. Crump is survived by his wife, Velda Joy Prince Crump; sons, Bobby Etters and John Etters of Kings Mountain, NC; daughter, Suzanne Williams of Kings Mountain; and five grandchil- dren and four great grand- children.
