The Press-Dispatch Church Wednesday, September 12, 2018 C- 3 RAMBLINGS Continued from page 1 Continued in next column Continued from page 2 even heard what someone is talking about. This is foolish because the person with the prob- lem has trusted you enough to seek your help and you have given them nothing except maybe more prob- lems. Sudden anger will never allow God to inter- vene with wisdom for both parties. So it is best to al- low your ears to work be- fore putting your tongue to work. Last point made was about the tongue and idle talk it can deliver. We are to bridle our tongues and keep hurtful things from being uttered. Once said our words can do damage which can't be repaired by I'm sorry. Often times your words hurt so badly, that relationships will nev- er recover which is terrible for both parties concerned. Preaching it won't do much good, if we don't ap- ply what we hear and read. We must become doers of it not just hearers. There are lots of seats available at Velpen Gener- al Baptist and I guarantee you will be welcome. Let's strive to be the blessing God needs us to be and let's reap blessings from God.
