(August 22, 2018) hspaxlp CITY OF PETERSBURG ORDINANCE 2018-4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PETERSBURG, INDIANA, ESTABLISHING PART OF GOODLET STREET A "ONE WAY" STREET WHEREAS, Indiana cities have the power to regulate traffic on City streets, and to establish "one way" designations for city streets or portions thereof; and, WHEREAS, traffic to and from the elementary school creates hazards on adjoining blocks, streets and highways due to high volumes during peak times, and the City wants to establish safe and efficient traffic patterns for school traffic; and, WHEREAS, the best option appears to be the establishment of "one way" traffic on that portion of Goodlet Street running between 9th and 10th Street, as "one way" heading Northeast towards 10th Street; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED as follows: Section 1.
