GGH Home Health Services recognized Gibson General Home Health Services has been named a 2017 HHCAHPS Honors recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst, a lead- ing provider of web-based home health and hospice software, billing and coding ser- vices, CAHPS surveys and advanced an- alytics. HHCAHPS Honors is a prestigious award recognizing home health agencies that continuously provide quality care as measured by the patient's point of view. This is the fourth time that Gibson Gen- eral Home Health Services has been rec- ognized with the award. "This award is a direct reflection of our staff and the extraordinary, patient-cen- tered care that they provide to their pa- tients, and I am very proud of them for again earning this distinction," said Em- mett Schuster, Gibson General Hospital president & CEO. Developed by Deyta Analytics, a divi- sion of HEALTHCAREfirst, HHCAHPS Honors acknowledges the highest per- forming agencies by analyzing the per- formance of Home Health Consumer As- sessment of Healthcare Providers and Sys- tems (HHCAHPS) satisfaction survey from more than 1,200 home health agen- cies contained in its HHCAHPS database with an evaluation period of April 2016 through March 2017. HHCAHPS Honors recipients include those agencies scoring above the HEALTHCAREfirst national av- erage on at least 85 percent of the 19 eval- uated questions. Only the top 15 percent of home health agencies in the HEALTH- CAREfirst database earned HHCAHPS Honors recognition. "Home Health Honors is a landmark compilation of home health agencies that provide the best patient experience," said J. Kevin Porter of HEALTHCAREfirst. "I am extremely proud of Gibson General Home Health Services for achieving this highest of honors and I congratulate them on their success."
