As Christmas nears, the case still includes most of the Thanksgiving options with a few additions such as duck, ham and yams. The store also offers lamb shanks and stuffed beef tenderloin. Co-owner Bill Grasch said Grasch's prides itself on bringing in items from the best bakeries throughout southeastern Wisconsin because he said there is no way the store could offer all of the wonderful options on its shelves on its own. Some of Grasch's offerings include all-butter Christmas cookies from Lakeland bakery, holiday stollens form La Champagne Bakery, cookies from Clasen's European Bakery, rye bread from Miller Bakery and other items from bakeries such as La Tarte and Simply Cinnamon Bakery. It also carries a full line of Molly's gluten-free bakery products. "It's just an incredible assortment of delectables," Grasch said. Grasch said a couple of the things that become more popular around the holidays include Christmas cookies, mint and cranberry tortes, confections, and yule logs. Owner Jon Cerny offers handcrafted pies, fresh rolls, kringles and strudels, in addition to the store's popular breads. Some of the holiday breads include cranberry walnut, apple pie cinnamon crunch, pumpkin walnut swirl and cornbread. In December, chocolate bobka, white chocolate cherry, Kentucky bourbon and stollen hit the shelves. Great Harvest also offers gluten-free breads and cookies. If you are looking for a "sweet" gift for someone, Great Harvest can package breads and sweets in gift baskets, bags and boxes and ship them anywhere nationwide.
