INVITED Keith Lockhart and Emiley Zalesky with Jana Giminez and Joyce Kulhawik Larry Lucchino with Coryn and Babak Bina Night at the Ritz BiNA Farm hosted the annual Horsing Around at the Ritz fundraiser on May 4 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Boston. The event raised $200,000 to support BiNA Farm's mission of bringing together children with and without special needs and providing enrichment programs. The gala was Kentucky Derby–inspired and featured Joyce Kulhawik as the master of ceremonies along with Keith Lockhart and Emiley Zalesky as guests of honor. A highlight of the gala was Lockhart performing the classic "What a Wonderful World" on the piano. Renowned violinist Joshua Bell was featured in the performance of the composer's beloved Violin Concerto, and Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos conducted the program, which closed with a performance of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. The Russian-themed opening night gala raised more than $330,000 for the artistic and educational mission of the BSO. The Russian-inspired dinner menu was created by chef Lydia Shire.
