Winslow Elementary School DARE award winners were announced recently during DARE graduation. They are: Ryan Whann - Top Student, Mrs. King's class; Isabella Luker - Top DARE Essay, Mrs. Vaughn's class; Ella Hartke - Top Student, Mr. Olinger's class; Deputy Jason McKinney (filling in for DARE Offi- cer Kent Johnson); Alyssa Butler - Top DARE Report, Mr. Olinger's class; Riley Bolin - Top DARE Re- port, Mrs. King's class; and Jackson Baker - Top Student, Mrs. Vaughn's class. Birthdays Area Reunions Schlachter celebrates 90th birthday Nora (Evans) Schlachter celebrated her 90th birth- day on Saturday, May 26 with an open house at Glezen Revival Life Center. Family and friends shared light refreshments, and, of course, birthday cake. BEARD FAMILY REUNION The Beard Family re- union will be Sunday, June 10 at the home of the late Bud and Velma Hamm, now the home of Linda Lynxwil- er and Jarod Willis.
