As a team, Pike Central scored 102 points. South- ridge was first with 151 points, while Forest Park finished third with 22 points. SECOND Continued from page 1 Mullins leads PCMS boys' swim team past Tell City Sixth grader Graham Mull- ins won two individual events as the Pike Central Middle School boys' swimming team opened its season with a 94- 60 victory over host Tell City on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Mullins placed first in the 100 -yard individual medley with a time of 1:14.17 and finished first in the 50 -yard backstroke with a time of 32.65 seconds. In addition, Mullins teamed up with eighth grader Alex Edrington and seventh grad- ers Isaac Burdette and Mi- chael Burkhart to place first in the 200 -yard medley relay with a time of 2:33.00. He al- so teamed up with Edrington, seventh grader Draven Rea- dle and sixth grader Wy- att Luff to place first in the 200 -yard freestyle relay with a time of 2:18.99. Also placing first in indi- vidual events for the Char- gers were Burdette in the 50 -yard breaststroke with a time of 44.25 seconds; Mi- chael Burkhart in the 50 -yard freestyle with a time of 34.03 seconds; and Luff in diving with a three-dive score of 62.45 points. Placing second in individ- ual events for the Chargers were Michael Burkhart in the 50 -yard butterfly with a time of 41.84 seconds; Edrington in the 100 -yard individual medley with a time of 1:31.90 and in the 100 -yard freestyle with a time of 1:22.72; and Readle in the 200 -yard free- style with a time of 3:12.15. Placing third in individual events for the Chargers were Burdette in the 200 -yard free- style with a time of 3:30.93; Luff in the 50 -yard butterfly with a time of 44.03 seconds; and Readle in the 50 -yard breaststroke with a time of 47.12 seconds. GIRLS: Seventh grad- er Jillian Bailey and eighth grader Jaize Mills won one individual event each as Pike Central Middle School girls' swimming team dropped a 112-58 season-opening loss to Tell City. Jillian Bailey placed first in the 50 -yard freestyle with a time of 31.34 seconds, while Mills placed first in diving with a three-dive score of 80.60 points.
