The facility, which offers 18 services to county residents locat- ed at 200 S. Post Road in Shelby, opened its doors March 7, 2016. Jason Falls, chairman of the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners, welcom- ing the more than 100 people attending, said public health remains a priority in the coun- ty. N.C. Speaker of the House Tim Moore, among speakers at the event, presented the fl ags to Health Director Dorthea Wyant. Hundreds of community members attended an open house at the beautiful facility on the following Sunday afternoon which featured a tour of the building.
