Funeral services were held at Fallston Baptist Church. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park with military graveside rites. He served our country in World War II serv- ing as a rifle pla- toon commander in Company G, 320th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division, leading that platoon during the Normandy and Rhineland Campaigns. He received two Bronze Stars, Silver Star for hero- ism, and Purple Heart for injuries received. Mr. Hamrick was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Pauline Willard Hamrick; his parents William Franklin Hamrick and Emma Jane Cline Hamrick; and two brothers, D.S. Hamrick and Dixon Hamrick.
