Allen has many hobbies and one of his favorites is saving lives, by giving blood. His gen- erous hobby is the driving force of his life. EUGENE F. ALLEN Mr. Allen says, “There’s not a substitute for blood, so if someone has a need for blood, someone must give him blood so he can continue to live.” Mr. Allen gave pint number 240, which equals 30 gallons of whole blood on October 13, 2010, during a blood drive at Cleveland Community College. He believes that the donated blood is being used within an 82 county area of the 100 coun- ties of North Carolina. Congratulations Mr. Allen and Thank You ! are.
