It looks like we flipped a switch on Winter and went straight into Spring mode. And there’s no cold air in sight, so suffice it to say Spring is here. However I’m sure we’ll have a few more cold spells. All the plants and trees are quickly budding now, so it won’t be long until the flowers and all plantlife come back from their Winter sleep to bring a new fresh landscape to the area. Now we could really use some rain to help out with this process. Looks like we have two good chances of that. First up, Friday morning. A cold front will race across the area and drop a little bit of rain and maybe even a thunderstorm, but that will quickly exit stage right by Friday afternoon, paving the way for a nice sunny weekend. Then, a new system will come our way late Sunday night or Monday with round two. Both of these look like they will be weakening on our doorstep or won’t drop a lot of rain, but any wetness right now will help settle the dust and burgeoning pollen. Once that front clears, we get sunny and warm again.
