CORNER CORNER Would you like to learn a little bit more about the Senior Center/Council on Aging and how this non-profit organization functions? The Senior Center will be hosting an orienta- tion on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 1:00. The Senior Center consists of 4 Departments: The Senior Center itself, The Housing Department, The Services Department, and The Food Service Department. Each Department will go over and update you on what their department is all about. Each department is in need of volunteers and this would be a great place to learn where you could be of service. Each year we are in need of so many volunteers. The Senior Center/Council on Aging could not survive without the volunteers and every year we lose a few, whether they pass away or move away or are no longer able. So we are begging all volunteers, New and Old, to come out to this orientation and learn just what the Senior Center is all about and how it can benefit you. VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION: MARCH 2, 2011 @ 1:00 – 2:00 Thank you, Lori Livingston, Volunteer Coordinator (704) 482-3488 “Secretariat” Enjoy an afternoon at the Movies Join the Council on Aging/Senior Center for the pre- miere of an astonishing true story bursting with hope, heart and courage on Friday, March 4, 2011.
