NOVEMBER 2010 – It's A Good Life Council on Aging/Senior Center Reassurance Program Telephone Do you, or someone you know, live alone and have little contact with people? If the answer is yes, then the Council on Aging Telephone Reassurance Program might be for you. This program is especially beneficial for seniors age 60 and above that need for someone to make contact with them. The service can be setup to meet the needs of the senior. On these days a volunteer will call to make sure that you are up and okay. If the volunteer does not get an answer they will notify a con- tact person that will check on you. If you are interested in this program, or being a volunteer to make calls with the Telephone Reassurance Program please call Kathy at 704-482-3488. In case of Bad Weather – Bad Weather Policy Operating hours are the same for the Senior Center in all weather conditions unless Cleveland County Offices are closed. Opening for participants will be based on county school delays.
