NOVEMBER 2010 – It's A Good Life Monthly Covered Dish Luncheon Supplement To Shelby Shopper & Info Due to the large events this month and the Thanksgiving Holiday, there will be no covered dish lunch in November at the Neal Senior Center. Also, due to the holidays there will not be a covered dish lunch in December as well. Join us in January 2011 for our next luncheon. Zumba Silver Is Now Gold Beginning in November, the Zumba instructor at the Neal Senior Center will be certified to teach the “official” senior adult version of Zumba – Zumba Gold. With the certification we can now officially offer this version of Zumba for adults age 55 and above. A name change also comes along with the new certification, so the Senior Center (100 TR Harris Drive, Shelby, NC 28150) will now offer Zumba Gold on Wednesday mornings from 11:00-12:00 and on Friday mornings from 11:30-12:30. Zumba Lite will stay just as it is on Monday evenings. For more information on either Zumba Gold or Zumba Lite, please call the Senior Center at 704-482-3488. Attention Cleveland County Men The Gin Rummy Gang, which meets each morning around 9:00 am at the Neal Senior Center to play Gin Rummy of course as well as to enjoy some good conversa- tion and a cup or two of Joe, is looking to increase its mem- bership. If you enjoy playing Gin Rummy and are looking to meet some new people and have a great morning then you should join the Gin Rummy Gang.
