WINE SAUCE FOR BAKED HAM Grace Plonk 4 tbs. butter or margarine 1 can No. 2 crushed pineapple ¾ cup brown sugar 1 tbs. dry mustard 1 ½ cups sherry Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat Add pineapple, brown sugar, and mustard. Cook slowly until ingredients are well blended. Remove from heat. Add sherry. BANANA POUND CAKE Sylvia Neisler 1 ½ cups Crisco oil 2 1/2 cups sugar 3 eggs 3 c. sifted plain flour 1 tsp. soda ¾ tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/ cup buttermilk or 1 ½ tsp. vinegar with sweet milk 4 bananas mashed 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup coconut Mix in order given. Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes before remov- ing and wrap in foil imme- diately.
