The Parade will begin at 10AM on W. Graham and S. Lafayette Streets and end on West Marion Street at the Bobby Bell Pavilion. This year's parade promises to be an exciting event honoring all veter- ans, veterans organizations, ROTCs and veteran color guards. Many veterans will be driving their classic cars for spectators enjoyment. Local high school bands will be providing music for the Parade procession. Local fi rst responders as well as Cleveland County and Shelby City elected offi cials will be par- ticipating. Applications for the Parade will be accepted un- til November 6, 2022. Application forms may be obtained at the Cleveland County Veterans Service Offi ce, 311 E. Marion Street, Shelby, NC or by emailing TVMustang68@bellsouth. net. The Annual Veterans Day Program will be held on the south lawn of the Earl Scruggs Center at 11AM. A patriotic pro- gram is planned with color guards, patriotic music and veteran speaker, Dr. Frank Hanna, retired Major US Army from Shelby. In the event of rain, the Program will be held at the Shelby City Park Gymnasium on W. Sumter Street and the Parade will be canceled.
