Born in Cleveland County, NC on November 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wilson Willis and Fern Whisnant Willis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Willis. Survivors include two daughters, Melinda Dix of Maiden and Rhonda Dix of Mooresboro; two sons, David Dix of Knoxville, TN and Daniel Dix of Henderson, NV; brother, Gerald Willis of Fayetteville; sister, Patricia Spangler of Connelly Springs; and six grandchildren. A Funeral Service was held October 17, 2022 at St. Peter's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bruce Dayton officiating. The burial followed the service in the church cemetery. PAMELA RENE HOYLE Pamela Rena Hoyle, 48, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. She is survived by one daughter, Victoria Glenn and son-in-law Sentriell Glover; one son, Michael "Isaiah" all of Shelby; one sister, Teresa Brackett of Casar; and one granddaughter. Born in Cleveland County on November 1, 1973, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Edward and Blanche Marie Brackett Hoyle. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Newton. A Memorial service was held October 17, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church in Casar, officiated by Rev. Norris Willis. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
