Terry was preceded in death by her two parents, Lallage and Willie Dee Brooks, and twin brother Jerry Brooks. She is survived by three children and their families, Candace James and Chris Hayes, Kenneth and Ashely James, Laura James and Nick Chappell; and by three sisters and their families, Veronica and Mike Walker, Sheila and David Grigg, Melanie Smith; along with significant other Charles Walter; and five grandchil- dren. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Standridge of the home, a son, Bobby Standridge (Vicki) of Little River, SC, two stepchildren, Tara Burdett (James) of Earl, NC, and Michael Wright Jr. (Jaclyn) of Grover, NC, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born June 5, 1931 in Georgia, Gerald was the son of the late William and Hattie Howington Standridge and was preceded in death by a son, William "Billy" Gerald Standridge, a brother, Quillen Standridge, and five sisters, Hattie Tietje, Lourene Roberts, Luriene Brocato, Louise Webber, and Geneva Standridge.
