Neighbor to Neighbor representative Mar y Collins
discussed Neighbor to Neighbor, hosted by St. Joseph's
Church. The non-denominational program is aimed at
helping people who are dependent on social agencies
for help with food or utilities learn skills to help them
become self-sufficient.The program meets two nights a
week and at the end, the participant receives a $400
credit for utilities, rent or another qualifying expense.
They learn budgeting, setting goals, writing a resume
and more. The program has been popular in Evansville
and they hoped to attract more people at the non-profit
fair Saturday at the Princeton Public Librar y.
