Eli- gible organizations include 501(c)(3) nonprofit orga- nizations, congregations, governmental and educa- tional institutions. Grants will be awarded in support of a broad range of charitable purposes, but priority will be given to include human services projects and programs that address basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing, that help families achieve financial stability, and that help individuals overcome life obstacles to become productive members of so- ciety. Priority will also be given to education initia- tives, especially those that focus on financial literacy for adults and youth, youth mentoring, and character development. Award amounts will be determined based on the merits of the proposed project. Previous awards have ranged from $1,000 to $5,000, but the Founda- tion will consider awards up to $5,000. To begin the application process, visit fftcgrants. communityforce.com and select "Cleveland County Community Foundation" to access the online applica- tion. Returning applicant organizations can log in to the Online Grants Center using their previously es- tablished ID and password. First-time applicant organi- zations can create a new account. Completed applications must be submitted by noon Friday, July 8. The online application closes promptly at 12 p.m. and will not ac- cept late submissions.
