Benner & Co. Heating and Cooling is adding plumbing to their services. Charlie Hyatt, a licensed journeyman plumber, is joining the Benner team. Hy- att has been working as a project manager for an Evansville construction team. Carl Benner said he kept getting requests for a plumber from his customers. He met Hyatt through mutual friends and they started talking. "I said, 'hey we have a bunch of calls for a plumber,'" said Benner. Hyatt started taking those calls for plumbing work in the area on the side. That continued for a couple of years. Hyatt said working a full-time job and plumbing after hours just got to be too much, so he decided to go full-time plumbing. "Adding plumbing will be big for the community and county to have a one-call do-it-all service," said Benner, referring to the addition of plumbing to the estab- lished heating and air conditioning service.
