A native of Cleveland County, she was born May 31, 1937, the daughter of the late Edward Bell and Ethel Hullender Bell. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Max Crawford; sister, Freida Bell and brothers, Jonas Bell, Lowry Bell, Manuel Bell, and William "Bud" Bell; and her former husband, Max Crawford; her daugh- ters, Carla Cody (Ricky) and Freida Ware (the Rev. Dr. John Ware); and five grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held February 28, 2022, at Westwood Heights Baptist Church. Burial followed at Cleveland Memorial Park. RAMONA RIDDLE Ramona "Pat" Riddle, 75, of Grover, NC went home to be with Jesus on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings and husband. SHARON GREASON HUSS Sharon Greason Huss, 59, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 26, 2022. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, and was pre- ceded in death by her father, Roger Lee Greason Sr. She is survived by her son: Michael Huss (Amy), Lincolnton, NC; mother: Pat Pennington Greason, Kings Mountain, NC; three grand- children; and brother: Roger Lee Greason Jr. (Angelia), Kings Mountain, NC. Funeral service was held March 5, 2022 in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverends Tim Setzer and JR Robbins officiating. Interment was at Mountain Rest Cemetery. Guest Register available CECIL L. BRACKETT Cecil L. Brackett, 86, of Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on April 18, 1935, he was a son of the late Roy Landrum Brackett and Hettie Queen Brackett. Mr. Brackett served our country in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Carolyn White Brackett. Those left to cherish his memory include two sons; Steve Brackett and David Brackett and wife Karen; one brother, Phillip Brackett of Casar; one sister, Margie Price of Casar; seven grand- children and seven great grandchildren. CHARLES LARRY PHILECK Charles Larry Philbeck, 79, of Shelby, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on November 7, 1942, he was the son of the late Major Philbeck and Margie Stepp Philbeck. Mr. Philbeck served our country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Carolyn Wesson, Donnis Sakran, Mary Boyles and Joyce McKinney. Survivors include his wife, Eunice Faries Philbeck; two sons, Alex Philbeck of Ft. Mill, SC and Rocky Philbeck of Shelby; one daughter, Jennifer State and husband, Shawn of Peachtree City, GA; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Fallston Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Wade Dellinger and Rev. David Blanton officiating. She was born August 22, 1934, in the Dover Mill Village of Shelby. She was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Revels and Ethel Ledford Revels Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Kelly Scarborough Fisher and a brother, Harold Revels. Left to cherish her mem- ory are her brothers: Roger and Lee Revels of South Carolina; her son, Chester Peeler of Ellenboro; two grandchildren; and two great grandsons. She married William A.
