Gamble Robinson, 94, of Winslow, entered rest on Friday May 28, 2021, at her daughter's home. She was born on Dec. 3, 1926, in Pike County, to Frank and Bessie (Davis) Simmons. She is survived by her son, James M. (Lucy) Gam- ble; daughters, Brenda K. Hale and Sondra Ramsey, of Winslow; grandchildren, Greg Doane, Stacy Wheatley, Tim Hale, Matt Gamble, Heath Gamble and Felicia Hayes; seven great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jodie Sim- ROBERTA JON WILLIAMS Roberta Jon Williams, 78, of Union, passed away peaceful- ly at her home, with her family at her side, on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born September 15, 1942, in Patoka, to Lester and Carmen Myrick. She worked as a teacher, a journalist, an entrepreneur and a legal secretary. She was a writer, poet, musician, artist and an avid gardener. She was a member of the Brenton Chap- el Church of Christ. A loving wife of 58 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is sur- vived by her husband, Ross; daughters, Rea Kersey and Ra- chelle Stevens; grandchildren, Mallie Demaree, Will and Jo- sef Kersey, and Elliot Stevens; and great-grandchildren, So- phia, Mariah, Jada and Leah. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Lou Ann Cover. Funeral services will be held at noon EDT on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Brenton Chap- el Church of Christ in Peters- burg. Burial will follow at Union Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. EDT until service time on Wednesday at the church. MICKY IRENE WEST Micky Irene West, 68, of Winslow, entered her heaven- ly home May 20, 2021, in New- burgh. She was born December 13, 1952, in Princeton, to Clifford Paul and Avis (Thompson) Moore. She and her husband, Dave West, were married on Jan- uary 8, 2010. Spending time with her family was one of the greatest joys in her life. She is survived by her hus- band, Dave West; sons, Mi- chael Willis and Jeremy Bigham; stepdaughters, April Bement and Cassie Ennis; grandchildren, Jada Smith, Seth Willis, Anna Willis, Alton Ennis, Jaxon Willis, Christian Bigham, Sophia Bigham, and Harlee Bement; great-grand- children, Denver Smith and Kamdynn Willis; brother, John (Ann) Moore; sisters, Linda Carlisle and Sally Turn- er; and many nieces and neph- ews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Wil- lis; stepson, Derek West; and brother, Tony ( Judy) Moore. Services were at 1 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Harris Funeral Home in Pe- tersburg, with Pastor Gary Arnold officiating. Viewing was from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with her care. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces of the Far East American Red Cross, Philippine Army and Philippine Red Cross. "Jimmy Dean" Foster, 86, of Jasper, passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. He was born in Daviess County on April 4, 1935, to Arvel R. and Glen (Hedrick) Foster. He retired from Prides Creek Golf Course, where he worked as a groundskeeper. He was a lifetime member of the Jefferson Township Volun- teer Fire Department and the Otwell Ruritan Club. Surviving are two sons, Richard (Bobbie) Foster, of Washington, and Randy (Sherry) Foster, of Jasper; one daughter, Renaee Keller, of Loogootee; 10 grandchil- dren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchil- dren; one sister, Mable Lamb; and two brothers, Donnie and Tommy Foster. Preceding him in death were his companion, Delores F. (Foster) Unterbrink; two sisters, Sally Gotwalls and Mary Lou May; one brother, Bobby Foster; and half broth- er, John Foster. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Becher Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with Pastor Jason Rea officiating. A burial will be at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Da- viess County. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
