Jerry Daniel Neal Sr., 78, of Spartanburg, departed this earth for a family reunion in heaven. He was born March 24, 1943 to Guy and Daisy Spencer Neal. He is survived by his wife, Glennis C. Neal; son, Jerry Daniel Neal Jr.; and grand- daughter and great-grand- daughter. Funeral services were held May 22, 2021 at Mt. Paran Baptist Church, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Lee Coyle offi- ciating. ROBERT (BOBBY) DALE TAYLOR Robert (Bobby) Dale Taylor, Jr., 53, of Cherryville, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Dale Taylor, Sr. and sister, Rebecca Ann Thomas-Taylor. Robert leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Kasandra Taylor of the home; daughters Destini Linesberger (Chris) and Kristen Sadler; sons, Chancelor Taylor and Robert (Bobby) Taylor III; sisters, Donna Smith (George), Sherri Taylor- Thernen (Michelle), Patricia York (Brandon), and Valaura Brashears; and mother, Carol Schlig Kenney. The son of Charles and Katie Little, Jack was born on November 9th, 1931. Mr. Little served our coun- try in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jack is survived by two daughters, Reba ANNIS ISLER PORTER Annis Isler Porter, 92 of Grover, NC passed away Thursday May 6, 2021. She was born in Cherokee County on November 8, 1928 to the late Charles Isler and Eunice Neal Isler. In addition to her parents and husband she was pre- ceded in death by a great grandchild; son, Bobby Keith Porter; brother and sisters: Jim, Ben, Lester, Sara, Beulah Howser, Annie Isler, and Pearly Mae Marlowe. She is survived by her brother, Glen Isler (Pat); her children: Larry Porter (Brenda), Roger Porter (Jackie); a daughter-in-law, Betty Porter; four grandchil- dren; four great grandchil- dren; and two great-great grandchildren. Born in Jefferson County, AL on October 23, 1939, he was a son of the late James Vestor Latham and Margaret Inez Gibbs Latham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Gary and Thomas Latham. He is survived by his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Willingham Latham; son, Keith Latham and wife Sharice; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild. EUGENE "GENE" BROOKS Apostle Eugene "Gene" Brooks, 70, of Lincolnton, NC passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. He was born to the late Mr. John Brooks Jr. and the late Prophetess Rosa Lee Brooks. The surviving siblings are Joyce McSwain (Thomas), Teresa Dukes (the late Ronnie), Brenda Perkins (Jasper), Juanita Brice (Elder William), Janice Miller, John Brooks (Diana), Pearlie Wilson (Ryan), Thomas Brooks (Wendy), Angela Brooks, and Kevin Brooks (Shanna). Apostle Brooks is survived by his wife, Prophetess Shirley Sweezy Brooks; four children: the late Frederick Bernard Robbs, Melinda Kay Brooks, Brian Eugene Brooks, and Blair Quincy Brooks (Rozzie); nine grand- children and many great- grandchildren; a father-in- law, Mr. Austin Sweezy of Baltimore, MD; a brother-in- law, Deacon Howard Camp of Waco, NC; three sister- in-law's, Deloris Borders (Albert) of Shelby, NC, Mary Poston (Kenny Sr.) of Cherryville, NC, Yvonne Sweezy of Waco, NC. He was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Velrry Montgomery (Pastor James) of Waco, NC, and a brother-in-law, Robert Sweezy of Waco, NC.
