They had 24 anglers show up to fi sh in some harsh conditions. It was cold, the wind still blew, the water was super muddy, and the fi shing was tough. The Carolina Bass Club fi shes Lake Hickory next April 3, 2021. Congratulations to these teams. 1st place--The team of Doyle Hudson and Brian Branch-- 5 fi sh limit weighing 6.95 pounds. The team won the big fi sh of the day award weighing in a 3.41 pounder. 2nd place--The team of Jimmy Melton and Derek Barkley with a 5 fi sh limit that weighed 5.69 pounds. 3rd place--The team of George Crosswhite and Jason Price also with a 5 fi sh limit weighing 5.47 pounds. Jason Price and Brackston Bivins won the 2nd big fi sh of the day award with a 2.58 pound largemouth. The Cleveland County Bass Club fi shed Lake Murray Saturday, March 27. The day started out super foggy and with lots of de- bris in the water around the ramp we put in. There was defi nitely a difference in the water from one end and the other, with reports of clear water at the dam. JCCBC will fi sh their top 10 fi sh-off at Norman and their regular tournament at Fishing Creek in April. Congratulations to the top fi ve. 1st place--Jeremy Bouldin--5 fi sh 17.44 pounds.
