FRIED GREEN TOMATOES Ann Moore 3-4 green tomatoes, me- dium size 1 egg beaten ¼ cup yellow cornmeal 1 tsp. salt ½ tsp. black pepper Slice tomatoes ½ inch thick. Dip first in beaten egg, then in corn meal, salt and pepper. Fry in hot oil until nicely browned on both sides. BLUEBERRY POUND CAKE Estelle Stanley 1 box yellow cake mix 8 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature ½ cup oil 3 eggs 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen Mix all ingredients together with mixer. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. BUTTER PECAN CAKE Edith Davis 1 box butter pecan cake mix 1 cup water 4 eggs 15-oz. coconut pecan frosting Mix all ingredients and put in cook pans that have been sprayed with Pam. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook cake for 1 hour. Cool cake for 15 minutes. Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.
