She is survived by her husband, Billy Dean Latham; two daughters, Deana Matamoros and Karen Good; six grand- children, Cole Good, Mia Good, Cody Matamoros, Kaidy Matamoros, Kailyn Matamoros, and Calyssa Matamoros, all of Shelby, NC; three sisters, JoAnn Hewitt, Gail Trunk, Wanda Conner; and a brother, Ted Rollins. Born in Cleveland County, NC on June 6, 1942, Brenda was the daughter of the late Daniel and Vesta Henderson Rollins. She was also pre- ceded in death by three brothers, Jack Rollins, Don Rollins, Dale Rollins, and a sister, Margaret Babnew. PAUL LAUSTERER Bessemer City - Mr. Paul Lausterer, 79, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at his residence. Paul was born in Floyd County, IN a son of the late Rudolph Lausterer and Dorothy Pearl Davis Lausterer. Mr. Lausterer served our country in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his son, Eric Paul Lausterer of Novoto, CA; and a brother, Robert Lausterer of Lincolnton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daugh- ter of the late George Dixon Borders and Ruth Arrowood Borders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Jack and Doyle Borders. He was born on July 28, 1924 in Hickory, NC to the late John Powell and Susie Sudderth Powell. Rev. Dr. Powell served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Margaret Smith Powell; his son, Adrian Johnson; his sisters, Gladys Carson, and Annie Florena Grant and his brothers, Benjamin Sudderth, Sr. and Gordon Sudderth, Jr. He leaves to cherish fond and lasting memories to his daughter, Suzanne Powell of Kings Mountain, NC; a daughter-in-law, Paula Johnson; his grandchil- dren, Donnyla Molly Powell, Sosajja "C.C." He was born on June 6, 1961 in Cleveland County, NC to Willie A. Wray and the late Ida Lee Cannon. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pamela "Lucy" Cannon, Veronica "RunchAnn" Cannon and Gail Wray; his brother, Jimmy Cannon; and his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on May 15, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Dianne and John Grylacos; and was also pre- ceded in death by her sisters Mary, Anna, Doris; and her brother John. Georgia is survived by his son, Richard (Mary Ellen) of Wilmington, NC and his daughter, Connie of Columbus, OH; her grand- children, Christopher Paul Theokas of Brooklyn, NY, John Charles Underwood and wife Kelly of Fuquay Varina, NC and Mary Elizabeth Underwood-Terife and husband Santiago of Fort Lauderdale, FL as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren Further announcements will be made regarding a memorial service for Georgia at which time the family will receive friends.
