A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ira and Blanch Taylor Dawson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Dawson; brother, Darrell Dawson; and sister, Elizabeth McKinney. He is survived by his brother, Robert Dawson of Shelby; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held Monday, September 28, 2020, in Cleveland Memorial Park. Online condolences: www. claybarnette.com WILLIAM "BILL" BURTON TESSENEER William "Bill" Burton Tesseneer, 80, of Shelby, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks, Huntersville. Born in Cleveland County, on December 3, 1939, he late Talmadge Dewitt Wilkins Sr. and Pearl Simmons Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins is survived by four sons, George H. Wilkins, Jr., Joel Bruce Wilkins Sr., Philip Charles Wilkins, and Stephen Robert Wilkins, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great- grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sallie Wilkins Hambright, and his grandson, Philip Wilkins, Jr. Graveside services were held on Sunday, September 27th, 2020, at 1:30 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 101 Mountain View Drive, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702 with Rev. FAYE MURRAY DELLINGER Faye Murray Dellinger, age 70, of Kings Mountain passed away on September 25, 2020 at her home sur- rounded by her loving family. She was born in Shelby, NC to the late William "Bud" and Ora Hunt Murray. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Thomas Wayne Murray and brother William Steve Murray of Ellenboro, NC. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, E. Wayne Dellinger; daughter Melissa Dellinger Putnam and husband Darrin of Kings Mountain; daughter, Maggie Dellinger Mayes and hus- band Shani of Taylorsville, NC; granddaughter Deyawna Rollinson, step grandchil- dren; Jalen and Lydia Mayes and great granddaughter, was a son of the late Beulo Tesseneer and Maliure Martin Tesseneer. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Essie Mae Moses Jones Tesseneer; stepson, Roy Jones; step- daughter, Ola Mae Seagle; two step grandchildren, Tammy Canipe and Karen Chadwick; brother, Kenneth Tesseneer; and two sisters, Shirley Padget and husband Roy and Judy Pruett. He is survived by his step- daughter, Etta Chadwick and husband Bob of Shelby; daughter-in-law, Brenda Jones of Shelby; sister- in-law, Linda Tesseneer of Shelby, brother-in-law, Donald Pruett of Shelby, six step grandchildren, Donna Gurley, Brenda Bell, David Chadwick, Bruce Chadwick, Phillip Jones and Chad Jones; and ten step great grandchildren. HELEN "LOUISE" JONES Helen "Louise" Jones, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Fair Haven Home of Bostic. Louise was born December 7, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Robert Lee Davis and Daisy Etta Dixon Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty- seven years, William Zeno Jones and thirteen brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son and his wife, Rickey and Tangie Jones of Ellenboro; three grandchildren, Ronnie Jones (Amy) of Concord, NC, Richie Jones (Amanda) of Ellenboro, Christy Powell (Matthew) of Forest City and six great-grandchildren, Tanner Huckabee, Laila Jones, Natalie Aiello, Bennett Aiello, Nora Powell and Evan Jones. Gerald was born on January 8, 1934 in Gaston County, NC a son of the late Arch Quinn and Alma Dellinger Quinn. Mr. Queen served our country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Emma Faye Black Quinn; a son and daughter-in-law David and Alesa Beam Quinn; and a brother-in-law, Wade Harrelson.
