She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Dorus Clay and Myrtie Smith Payseur and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William "Bill" McGinnis; by her daughter, Sandra Ann McGinnis; her brothers, Carl and D.C. Sara was born October 8, 1928 in York County, SC to the late Phillip White Clark and Annie Mae Thomas Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Bill" Causby; son, Gary Clark Causby; great-grand- son, Tyler Watkins and three brothers, John Lewis "Shot" Clark, Jimmy James Clark and Tom Clark. Those left to cherish her memory include, daugh- ter, Connie Jo Causby of Marion; two granddaughters, Kari Hayes of Campobello, SC and Heather Causby of Mooresboro; five great- grandchildren, Chase Hayes, Zaydon Hayes, Alan Holycross III, Chris Causby, Ryan Causby and two great- great grandchildren, Damian and Anthony Causby. ROBERT "PETE" JUNIOR PETERSON Robert "Pete" Junior Peterson, age 82, formerly of Garrett Dr. in Shelby, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation. He was born January 10, 1938 in Cleveland County to the late Jessie and Mammie Wright Peterson. Mr. Peterson served our country in the U.S. Navy. Born in Cleveland County on April 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late, Everett Lawson Wright and Florence Lucy Eulalia Hoyle Wright. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dean Hamrick; son, Terry Hamrick; daughter, Beth Hamrick; brother Austin Lee Wright; and sisters, Evelyn W. Norman, Maxine Page, and Rachel Parker. She is survived by four grandchildren, Melinda Hamrick, Adam Hamrick, Marissa Hamrick, and Spencer Hamrick.
