C-2 Church Wednesday, July 17, 2019 The Press-Dispatch youth service from 6 -7:30 p.m. and Wednesday ser- vice from 6 -7:30 p.m. • No Wednesday evening service this week. • Kingsmen men's group will meet Thursday, July 25 at 6 p.m. • Free Youth Rally this Sunday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Pike Coun- ty Fairgrounds. • Sunday study from 9 - 9:35 a.m. Current study is on the book of Ephesians. "It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is work- ing out in everything and everyone. It's in Christ that you once heard the truth and believed it (this message of your salvation), found your- selves home free—signed, sealed and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what's coming, a remind- er that we'll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life" (Ephesians 1:11,13). He has been on several adoption out- ings and is very well-be- haved and personable when meeting the public. He is still waiting for his forever family to find him. Tripp has some beagle and hound heritage, is tri-col- ored black, white and tan, has alert brown eyes that sparkle when he is spoken to. God is so good. To him that soweth righ- teousness shall be a sure re- ward. A fter a long time the lord of those servants co- meth, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had re- ceived five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliv- eredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained be- side them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faith- ful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou in- to the joy of thy lord. We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: hence- forth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righ- teous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. If at any time you have no church to attend, feel free and join us for services. I am sure you will leave be- ing blessed. Without go- ing into too much detail, at the climax of the movie the main character, Coach Tay- lor looked at a crowded lock- er room of tired high school football players and asked the question "what is impos- sible with God?
