Come visit us, our doors are always open to you. A family was heading on vacation: two little ones were nestled in car seats; the van was packed. As dad locked the house and mom secured the garage, an adult neighbor the kids knew walked up and spoke through an open win- dow. "Where are you going? " The kids shrugged. "Well, what road are you taking? " the friend asked with a know- ing smile. Of course, they had no idea. "Do you know where you'll eat today, or where you'll spend the night? Tues- day morning women's Bible study at the fellowship hall 10 a.m. I ran this back in Febru- ary, but I feel God is lay- ing this on my heart to run it again. We don't question God. We just follow his lead. Black and Gold Boxes I have in my hands two boxes, which God gave me to hold. He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box, and all your joys into the gold." I heeded His words, and in the two boxes both my joys and sorrows I stored, but though the gold became heavier each day, the black was as light as before. With curiosity, I opened the black. I wanted to find out why, and I saw, in the base of the box, a hole which my sorrows had fall- en out by. I showed the hole to God and mused, "I wonder where my sorrows could be? " He smiled a gentle smile and said, "My child, they're here with me." I asked God why He gave me the boxes, why the gold and the black with the hole? "My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings. The black is for you to let go." We invite all of you to come and worship with us. Roy Stilwell, Pastor Pam Lemond, Reporter Pentecostal nursing homes, your neigh- bors, any that are sick and in bondage and also remem- ber in prayer our President, government and Jerusalem. I pray that many of God's children realize it's time for revival in our lives and in our churches. May reviv- al fire begin to burn in our churches again and the har- vest come in. In God's Service. George Bruce, Pastor stares. Then the friend asked, "Who are you traveling with? " The children broke into grins and shouted, "Mommy and Daddy! " On the journey of faith, we don't know precisely where we're headed or how all our needs will be met. But we know who we're traveling with: our loving God who is fully aware of the twists and turns ahead; the loving Par- ent who promises to care for us wherever we go.
