This movie is not your typical average comedy for the family. The main idea of this movie is about a man who gets his identity stolen by a woman. This led to a series of unfortunate events. Financial bureaucrat Sandy Patterson, played by Jason Bateman, gets a call from his credit card company informing him that he has gone over the limit when he tries to purchase gasoline for his vehicle. A little while later that day, he is arrested for missing his court date in Orlando, Florida. Orlando being almost 2,000 miles away from his home in Denver. In reality, it has been stolen by a con artist named Diana, portrayed by Melissa McCarthy. Attempting to save his job, Patterson drives across the country to get her too confess her crimes and of all the debt she has racked up in his name. Along the way, Patterson and Diana are tracked by fellow criminals who want revenge for the schemes Diana pulled on them such as one particular scene in the movie. One of the criminals chasing Diana is a Bounty Hunter. He crosses paths with two other criminals that are www.investorstemcells.com Mellisa Mcarthy plays a quirky con-woman . trying to get the money that Diana owes to their boss. She sold their boss credit cards that have already been used up completely. But the confrontation between all these criminals led to the Bounty Hunter being shot in the neck. At the beginning of the movie, you can easily tell where its going off too and where it will end up. Luckily this movie has Melissa McCarthy, known for her role www.majorcineplex.com in the hit movie Bridesmaids, and her outstanding performance on being the con artist. McCarthys bubbly personality is infectious and hard not to fall for while she is ripping people off. She really brings a whole different side to the character of Diana. Her acting lets the audience see some insecurity and pain behind her eyes. With all the effects and scenes in this movie, it kind of reminds you of the normal road trip films. There is absolutely nothing different besides the characters and the types of actors and actresses that play them. Even though it was ridiculously funny, I suspected its plot the whole time. Basically, it just comes down to what type of movies you are in too. Identity Thief was a great movie to go see with the family. But, I would not recommend this movie for children under the age of 12. Some of the graphic scenes in the movie may be too traumatizing for the little kiddies. Im just telling it like it is. The film is funny but it is somewhat predictable. Jason Bateman plays a bussiness man caught in the middle. February 15, 2013 City of Bones captivates with a thrilling plot line and setting Ceighlee Fennel Staff Writer The entrancing novel City of Bones, written by Cassandra Clare, is a beautifully written story. It has drama, suspense, action, mysteries, and power all spun into a story full of thrills. Clary is the main character and in one night her whole life changes. She goes out with her loyal friend Simon to party, but instead she witnesses three teenagers, called Shadowhunters, kill a demon. Shadowhunters are the children of angels and men. One of the Shadowhunters is a charming and mysterious boy named Jace who Clary keeps meeting up with and he also plays a major role in the story. Clary is then attacked by a demon in her house and her mother is kidnapped. After that Clary is thrown into an ancient war between terrifying demons and mysterious Shadowhunters.Clary has a gift that leads people to believe that she isnt all human. Clary has the Sight which lets her see things that regular people would not be able to see, such as demons. She starts to see all the things that have been hidden from her for her whole life, like seeing vampires, werewolves, and fairies. To find and save her mother, Clary, Jace, and the Shadowhunters team up to take down their arch enemy Valentine who is holding Clarys mother prisoner. Valentine is an evil and terrifying man who wishes to take down all Downworlders, pretty much any magical being. As the story progresses, there are betrayals, heart breaks, and gut wrenching twists that makes the storyline just that much more interesting. This novel instantly captures your attention with creative writing, an interesting story, and its intensity. You cant put it down once you start reading it. Cassandras writing style flows and moves quickly yet it does not forget all the little details that sometimes happen when there is all lot of craziness going on in the story. Plus she throws all those heart-stopping twists into the story. The characters are very well written and developed. Almost all of them change as the story gets more complex and more challenges present themselves. I have never read a novel quite like this one and I would recommend it to people who are searching for a dark, thrilling, and an unpredictable storyline. Now, if you are more interested in reading a slow and steady love story then this book is definitely not for you. The twists and betrayals leave you astonished while the action and suspense keeps you hooked. This book may seem big, but once you start reading, you cannot stop flipping pages. City of Bones is only the first book in the Mortal Instruments series. This book is unique and totally worth a read. Emblem 3: not merely another lame boy band Julia Liebert Staff Writer When Emblem3 auditioned for the X Factor, the band became some girls dream and who most guys would like to be. They won Americas heart with their song called Sunset Blvd. The band consists of two brothers, Wesley and Keaton Stromberg, and their best friend, Drew Chadwick all from Huntington Beach, California. Keaton was seven years and at a school talent show, Wesley was in the sixth grade and preformed with a halfpipe, and Drew was in the second grade at recess when he first preformed. Wesley came up with Emblem when they were going through a list of names to decide from. They all decided 3 was a good and powerful number to uses, so they used it. There are also three of them, and thats how they came up with Emblem3. As they went on through the competition, they kept their heads up through the bad times and they did as best as they could to stay in. They were the fourth place winners and they were happy about that but wished they could have gotten further. Some people compare Emblem3 to One Direction and when someone commented to them about that they had a lot to say. They said We are not a boy band. Not that thats a bad thing we just dont want that label on us. It is also a great feeling to be compared to them because they are great successful and have loyal Site of the Issue www.Twaggies.com Twaggies.com is a great website when you have nothing to do and like giggling at stupid drawings. The Twaggies website takes a tweet from twitter that they thought was funny or strange and they create a simple illustration for it to make it...even funnier. Unfortunatly, the random twag generator loads a little slowly. However, the website is still a quick entertaining way to waste time. www.hitzoneonline.com The band members: Wesley, Keaton and Drew fans that are also becoming our fans, well some. If you are interested to know what they sang on the X Factor, you can buy their songs on iTunes. They have not released an album yet. We do this because we dont know what else to do. In the past few years I feel like we have gotten so lost in the sound of music that we couldnt find out way out of it if we wanted to. It is almost like we have reached this enlightened, eternal bond like silent connection shared with and through sound. Its life, they said. Emblem3 won Orange County Battle of the Bands the year before they come on the X Factor. Their guilty pleasures are getting lost on long streaks, sitting at the computer for hours, and SpongeBob Squarpants. Influences are, Blink 182, Incubus, the Red Hot Chili, and This new upcoming band will be sure to capture some attention!
