All are wel- come. "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Think of the things you do not worry about. Per- haps you never worry about whether you will be able to get water out of the fau- cet in your kitchen, or may- be you do not worry about a tree falling on your house. You may be a worrier by na- ture, but even the worst wor- rier in the world don't wor- ry about some things. Now ask yourself why you don't worry about such things. Is it because, in the case of running water, it has always been there when you want- ed it? Or that a tree has nev- er fallen on your house be- fore? Certainty breeds trust. We can be just as certain and just as worry free about God's love and protection. What is the evidence? It is the cross where God ful- ly expressed His love for us. The Bible says "He who did not spare His own son, but gave up for us all - how will He not also, along with Him graciously give us all things? " (Romans 8:32). His love is certain. He has never gone back on a single prom- ise, and He never will. If at any time you have no church to attend, feel free and join us for services. I am sure you will leave be- ing blessed. May God bless each and everyone. May God walk you through this world in the palm of His hand. Well hopefully it is, and the weather doesn't play anymore tricks on us. But pretty soon the old cold and dreary weather will be behind us, snow will be a memory, and new life will start to form. The sunshine and warmth will give way to plants rising up from the ground. And it is then we will be reminded once again light gives way to beauty. Here at the First Christian Church we are in a sermon series on the Gospel of John. We are reminded time and time again that through Je- sus we have streams of liv- ing water. The Bible also says in these streams of liv- ing water, when we come in- to Christ, the old has passed away and the new has come (II Corinth. 5:17).
