Carson Gayhart, Taylin Mason, Taylen Bailey and Deacon Jenkins demonstrate north, south, east and west for storyteller Susan Fowler. Fifth graders Sydney Burdette, Brooklyn Blount, Evan Kuhn, Hunter Moore, Easton Bailey and Mad- lyn Robling were the Respect winners for the month and earned lunch with Mrs. Werner. Tuesday, November 27: Pork BBQ sandwich or mini corn dogs with crinkle cut fries and baked beans. Wednesday, November 28: Chicken Alfredo, garlic twist, sweet potato fries and broccoli with cheese. Menu subject to change. Milk choices offered daily. Assorted fruits and veggies offered daily. Kids Robotics Competition On Saturday, November 10 Pike Central Middle School's Robotics Teams compet- ed at South Spencer Middle School in the Kids Robots and Engineering Vex IQ Ele- mentary School/Middle School Competi- tion. Throughout the day two students per team worked with an alliance team to score as many points as possible in 1 minute. All four teams qualified to compete in the final round of competitions of the day. In the final round of the day, PCMS Pink Power Team allied with The Bots from Rockport, Indi- ana to win the Teamwork Champion Award. They will advance to the VEX Robotics State Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indi- anapolis March 9, 2019. They are also invit- ed to attend the 2019 CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship.
