"Mike" Ault, 75, of Bicknell, passed away Fri- day, August 3, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital. The grandson of Car- ter and Myrtle (Benjamin) Thomas, he was born March 31, 1943, in Loogootee. He was a retired Indiana State Police trooper with the rank of sergeant as he served with the department from 1965 to 1993, working out of the Jasper and Evans- ville Post. He was a member of the Indiana State Police Alliance, FOP Lodge # 62, and the Hornady Baptist Church in Petersburg. He enjoyed watching the India- napolis Colts and helping as a clerk for Roger Craig Auc- tions. Surviving are his wife, Donna Kay (Mengedoht) Ault, whom he married on March 31, 1998; his sons, Brian (Shellie) Ault, of Papil- lion, Neb., and Matt (Shaw- na) Ault, of Vincennes; step- daughter, Lori (Gary) Als- man, of Oaktown; grand- children, Elizabeth (Taylor) Hunt, Joshua Ault, Seth (Ga- brielle) Ault, Thomas Ault and Hope Ault; step-grand- children Sara (Trent) Miller and Eric (Heather) Alsman; great-grandchildren, Sa- vannah Hunt, Taylor Hunt, Jr. and Lincoln Hunt; and a step-great-grandchild, Bex- ley Miller. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Phyllis Joan Ault; and a grandchild, Marlee Ault. JAN NELSON Jan Nelson, 78, of Owens- ville, and formerly of Princ- eton and Oakland, Ark., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville. She was born October 19, 1939, in Ann Arbor, Mich., to Curtiss McManus and Vir- ginia O. (Moore) Knowles. She attended Hilltop Bap- tist Church in Oakland, Ark. CONSTANCE JEAN RUNZE Constance Jean Runze, 86, formerly of Oakland City, passed away peaceful- ly in the arms of her daugh- ter, Andrea Helland, on Ju- ly 12, 2018, in Boise, Idaho. She was born on Feb. 10, 1932, and raised in Oakland City, the only child of Lau- ra Smith. A fter graduating from In- diana University, she moved to California to be a teacher. It was there where she met her husband, Bob Runze, and raised her three daugh- ters: Andrea Helland, Melin- da Karim and Teresa Mer- rill. She had many friends and enjoyed bowling, play- DENA J. FRICKE Dena J. Fricke, 56, of Washington, passed away on August, 3, 2018, at 12:40 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1962, in Washington, to Donald and Mary (Miller) Holland. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had managed the Eagles Kitchen. She loved animals and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Fricke, of Washington; parents, Don- ald and Patsy (Everhart) Holland, of Washington; daughter, Samantha (Ryan) Benner, of Otwell; son, Tyler (Kelsey) Elsey, of Washing- ton; stepsons, Christopher Fricke, of San Francisco, Calif., and Michael (Elina) Fricke, of the Netherlands; brother, Dennis (Annie) Holland, of Washington; two sisters, Sue Dinkens and Cindy Hunter, both of Washington; five grandchil- dren; half-brothers, Charles Ward, Jr., of Washington, and John Ward, of Peters- burg; half-sister, Lisa Neu- kam, of Washington; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her birth mother; grandparents; and her moth- er and father in-law. GREGORY ALAN GOSLEE Gregory Alan Goslee, 53, of Elberfeld, passed away. He was born on August 17, 1964, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Jer- ry Lee Goslee and Beverly Sue Carter. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a law enforcement specialist. He was a 27-year employ- ee at Lincoln Industries in Boonville as the purchasing and production manager. He loved to play horseshoes and competed in many regional NHPA tournaments. He is survived by his chil- dren, Dalton Mack Goslee, of Petersburg, and Macken- zie Lea Goslee, of Peters- burg; his mother, Beverly Morningstar, of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; siblings, Mi- chael Goslee, of St. Joseph, Mich., and Kristy O'Hara, of Deltona, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Gos- lee. He was born January 27, 1947, in Oakland City. He had lived in Oakland City all of his life and for- merly worked at Craddock Furniture in Evansville. He liked fishing and hunting, and enjoyed his parakeets and finches. She was born on Jan. 14, 1923, in Oakland City, to William and Ana Orth Bigham. She graduated from Oak- land City High School in 1940 and was a member of St. John's Church in Buck- skin. She is survived by daugh- ters, Joanne Radigan, of Princeton, and Suzanne (Ron) Thorne, of Winslow; son, Greg (Barb) Hamm, of Petersburg; three grandchil- dren; two great-grandchil- dren; cousin, Jack Bigham, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and several nieces and neph- ews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Boedeker; a stillborn son; her parents; sister, Kathryn Whaley; brothers, William and Har- old Bigham; and sisters-in- law, Ruth King and Elsie Smith. She was born to Oscar and Minnie Willis on De- cember 6, 1916. She married Paul W. Robling on December 12, 1933. She was a housewife to Paul for 69 years and en- joyed family and scrapbook- ing. She is survived by her son, Jerry W. (Mary Ann) Robling; grandson, Jer- ry M. (Staci) Robling; great-grandchildren, Dillen and Harper Robling. She was preceded in death by her parents; hus- band, Paul W. Robling; sis- ter, Olivia Clem; and broth- er-in-law, Jack Clem. DONALD R AY ADAMS Donald Ray Adams, 83, of Bloomington, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, peacefully at home. He was born August 1, 1934, in Algiers, the son of the late George C. and Gene- va (Benjamin) Adams. He graduated from Otwell High School in 1952 and at- tended Vincennes Univer- sity and Oakland City Col- lege. He enlisted in the Indi- ana National Guard as a Re- serve for 10 years. He was a businessman and moved to Blooming- ton in 1959 and worked at Sarkes Tarzian. From 1961- 1965, he and Ralph Ridge co-owned the Ideal Stamp Company and Ideal Hobby Shop. In 1965, he and Ralph founded ATR Coil Company, Inc. Later in life, he went on to own several other busi- nesses in Bloomington. He was an avid sports fan, and supporter of IU Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty; their daughter, Debbie (Travis) Tate, of Bloomington; two sons, Dennis and David (Pam) Adams, of Bloom- ington; six grandchildren; Chantel (Doug) Patton, Ka- tie (Nathan) McAninch, David Adams, Maddie Ad- ams, and Noah and Micah Tate; two great-grandchil- dren; two sisters; Martha (Donnie) Horrell and Nan- cy (Tom) Foster; one sister- in-law, Karen Adams; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two broth- ers, Bill and Larry Adams; and his first wife of 20 years, Helen Prince. A memorial service was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at South Union Chris- tian Church in Bloomington. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.
