Not only did the photographer show the impact on the residents, but on firefighters and law enforcement. Great use of light and telling details. Photo of the Year The Star Press (Muncie) Division 5 Fatal multiple picture group Jordan Kartholl Three-year-old Clayton Carnes died in a house fire in Muncie. Firefighters were able to quickly contain what was described as a sudden and intense fire that consumed the one-story structure. The child's mother, a man who was also in the home and a 14-month-old child escaped with non-serious injuries.
