Ad Paid for by Daviess County Right to Life P.O. Box 41, Washington, IN 47501 To Vote Pro-Life means to vote for Candidates for elective office who not only say they are pro-life but are willing to put that meaning in every vote they make once they are elected. Once elected they can vote for party leadership positions that are pro-abortion and these people kill pro-life bills and the pro-life agenda. This is why endorsements are made by the Right to Life Political Action Committees that take into account the past voting records, public statements, response to questionnaires and history of the candidates. While they say they are Pro-Life, their actions may not reflect it. When you vote to support Candidates who either are pro-abortion and not willing to stand up for the Pro-Life Principles, You are voting to support abortion. You are working against everything the Right to Life Organization is trying to do in protecting the lives of the unborn. So remember, when you go to the polls, think Pro-Life and Vote for Candidates who not only say they are Pro-Life but are willing to put that into practice. There are many important issues to consider but none more important than the killing of unborn children. PLEASE VOTE PRO-LIFE! ligion of secularism and lib- eral theology is not derived from the Bible or Christian tradition. These forces of evil are at work everyday in the classroom and in the liber- al media. Those who share weak Christian faith are pushovers for secularism. A secular government and lib- eral church is a threat to any society. The elite media and cor- rupt politicians cannot be trusted. Hopefully, wise peo- ple will listen and read be- tween the lines and not be deceived or misled. Our nation, families and church are all under attack. Christians need to pray and pastors need to preach the truth. It is truth that sets us free and will keep us free. and pray that people really search their hearts and vote for the person who is best for all of the USA. I really hope that whoever is elected doesn't have problems work- ing with both sides because it will take us all to make Amer- ica return to any kind of nor- mality. I can't see us trust- ing after what we have been through with the emergence of the COVID virus. I almost forgot my shout- out this week and I would like to say hey to Tim Beck. Tim didn't have a nickname that I can remember, but he was a fun guy to work with. Tim and I worked together off and on when he was in mainte- nance. Tim was another guy who wasn't afraid of getting dirty or tearing into whatev- er we would be working on. I was happy to see Tim and his wife at Arthur General Baptist Church last Sunday. I pray God will send many blessings their way and that they will bless others. Another Sunday with- out having services at Vel- pen General Baptist and this time we backed away from because there aren't many churches willing to risk the health of others due to the virus potential. With the un- certainty of how this virus spreads and how soon an ex- posed person can pass it on we should never take chanc- es with it. So if you feel bad stay away from others or if you think there is a possibility you have had an exposure please don't take the chance to infect someone else. As it has been said before a church building is just a meeting place be- cause we are the church so we can worship always and not be in a church building. That last paragraph is a hard thing to say because preachers like to preach and teachers like to teach but real worship is found in your de- votion to God and His Son. You are called upon by God to be a helping caring Chris- tian as an extension of His al- mighty love for us, His cre- ation. Okay enough for now be- cause I don't want to wear you out with my ramblings. Go out next week and be a blessing. The old man (self ) is at en- mity against God. He hates God and the things of God and left to himself he will not seek God. The Scriptures, from beginning to end, speak with a unified voice that the old nature is rotten to the core (See Rom. 3:9 -18). Consequently, our old man (self ) has been cruci- fied with Christ. Paul made reference to this when he wrote to the Galatians, "I am crucified with Christ [i.e. his old man]: nevertheless I live [Paul's new nature]; yet NOT I [self], but Christ liveth in me." We are to put off the old nature and put on the new, which is created in holiness and righteousness (Eph. 4:22-24). It is futile to improve one's self- image, especially since God abhors any attempt to do so. Rather, we are to conform ourselves to the image of His dear Son. Thus, those of the household of faith are to live accordingly: "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let us esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 2:3-5). Self takes great pleasure in acclaim, indulgence, approv- al and praise. It glories in all these things. But are we not robbing God when self is es- teemed more highly than His glory? "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: there- fore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (I Cor. 6:19,20). Shall we permit the "love of one's self" doctrine to overshadow the love of God in Christ Jesus? God forbid! May God help us to stand against this insidious teach- ing that essentially robs God of the glory that is rightfully due Him. In the times that we are all facing, remember this verse. Be on your guard. Put on the full armor of God, and let him guide you and protect you. Be not fooled by the devil's lies and the world's ways. Stand firm in the faith. Do not let anything shake your faith. Remember that your God is all powerful and walks beside you. Pray for those that mock you and those that do not be- lieve, that God may show mer- cy on them, for destruction awaits those that mock God. Be courageous and strong. Never forget, that as a child of God, your faith in him makes you stronger than the dev- il and worldly desire. Keep your faith in God and love all people, even the ones that hurt you. For God does and as he does, we should also. God bless you and keep you. See our Facebook page Glezen Revival Center. Web- site: grcenter.net – E-mail ad- dress: glezenrevivalcenter@ yahoo.com.
