For the season, Sorgius pitched 14 complete games, including three shutouts. Stone received honorable mention accolades as an in- fielder after batting .360 – with nine hits, including two doubles and one home run, in 25 at-bats – against PAC opponents while scor- ing eight runs and driving in five. Stone, who drew seven walks and was hit by a pitch once, struck out three times in 33 plate appearances. She also was successful on four out of five steal attempts. Overall, Stone batted .342 – with 25 hits, including six doubles and two home runs – in 78 at-bats while scor- ing a team-high 21 runs and driving in 21. Stone, who drew 13 walks and was hit by a pitch five times, struck out nine times in 96 plate appearances, was also was successful on 10 out of 11 steal attempts. Also named to the PAC All-Conference Team were: Catchers: Macie Zink (Forest Park) and Hayley Waninger (Heritage Hills). Pitchers: Maddie Dun- can (Tecumseh) and Lynd- si Adamson (Gibson South- ern). Outfielders: Maddie Fuller (Heritage Hills), Col- by Rogers (Gibson South- ern) and Cami Boylis (Te- cumseh). Infielders: Lauren Cas- well (Heritage Hills), Rea- gon Hight (Tecumseh) and Hayley Fulcher (Tell City). Utility: Morgan Schuet- ter (Tell City), Sam Helms (South Spencer), Hannah Long (Gibson Southern) and Ashton Rasor (South Spencer). Also receiving honorable mention were: Catcher: Lauren Lin- gafelter (Gibson Southern). Infielders: Taylor Bayer (Forest Park), Kennedy Nal- ley (Southridge) and Ken- nedy Sermersheim (Forest Park). Outfielders: Kirsten Greenberg (Tecumseh), Payton Nalley (Southridge) and A.J. Middleton (South Spencer). Utility: Megan Barnes (North Posey), Emma Eu- bank (Heritage Hills). Tecumseh, which finished the regular season with a re- cord of 23-4, won first place in the PAC with a conference record of 8 -0. Gibson Southern (18 - 8) was second at 7-1 while Heritage Hills (14-13) was third at 6 -2. Pike Central (12-8)and South Spencer (7-11) tied for fourth at 4- 4, followed by Tell City (14- 11) at 3-5 and Southridge (9 - 15) at 1-7. Pike Central High School head coach Kyle McCutchan and his staff will be conduct- ing two separate camps. The first will be for incom- ing 3rd through 5th graders from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. The sec- ond will be for incoming 6th through 8th graders from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. The camp will focus on fundamentals and learn- ing the game of basketball. There will be games and contests each day. Each camper will receive individ- ual instruction from coach- ing staff and high school players. The cost is $20 per play- er, or $ 35 for two players from the same family, and includes a camp T-shirt. Forms are available at each school's office.
