(1) Rates adopted December 5, 2011 per Ordinance No. 2011-13. (2) Represents a 6% across-the-board rate increase to be effective in the first full billing cycle following adoption. Klipsch, Mayor (June 7, 14, 2017) hspaxlp (B) Monthly Flow Charge: Treatment rate per 1,000 gallons of usage per month $6.33 $6.71 $7.11 $7.47 (C) Unmetered Water Users (Per Month): Residential: Single family residence $49.24 $52.20 $55.32 $58.11 Proposed Rates* CITY OF PETERSBURG ORDINANCE 2017-5 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PETERSBURG, INDIANA, ESTABLISHING A FOUR-WAY STOP AT SPRUCE AND KNOX STREET INTERSECTION WHEREAS, Indiana cities have the power to regulate traffic on City streets, and to establish four- way stop intersections; and, WHEREAS, certain citizens of the City of Petersburg, have reported to the police and Common Council, that motorized traffic routinely exceeds the speed limit on portions of Spruce Street in the City of Petersburg, near the intersection of Knox Street, and the intersection has difficult sight lines; and, WHEREAS, these citizens have requested the City of Petersburg to establish a four-way stop at the intersections of Spruce and Knox Street, to slow down the traffic and provide better safety at the intersection; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED as follows: Section 1. Four-way stop intersection. e intersection of Spruce and Knox Street in the City of Petersburg, is hereby designated as four-way stop intersection. Section 2. Proper signs. e City of Petersburg shall erect and maintain proper stop signs and other traffic signal signs deemed appropriate, to signal to the general public that traffic must comply with the four-way stop requirements at this intersection. Section 3. Enforcement. e Police Department of the City of Petersburg, shall enforce this Ordinance and may report violations to the ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS BUREAU of the City of Petersburg, or other proper authority. Section 4. Penalty. e penalty for each violation of this Ordinance shall be a fine of up to $25.00 which sum shall be collected as provided by Petersburg City Ordinance No. 1989-2, providing for the creation of an ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS BUREAU, or as collected by other proper authorities. Section 5. Repealer. All provisions of Petersburg City Ordinances heretofore enacted, which are in conflict with this Ordinance, are hereby repealed. Section 6.
