The Council on Aging Board and Staff would like to thank the Carolina Singers and their Director Shirley Wright for doing this fundraiser for the Neal Senior Center. The event was a huge success and everyone enjoyed the food and entertainment. Play entitled "Who Murdered Who?" auditions will be held at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Library. The excitement increases in this Mystery-comedy as mysterious happenings take place and everyone is suspected of murder. We welcome your talent and skills to help us make this year's Dinner Theatre Membership Play a huge success! They strive to do so through offering not only the Meals On Wheels programs but also through their congregate sites. They are con- stantly working to use resources to best benefit seniors. They are looking to start a new program called the Lunch Box Ministries in September 2012, which will offer more food to Meals On Wheels clients. They are asking for donations of specific food items such as: • 12oz cans of soup – If possible pop-tops are preferred • 12oz cans of vegetables or fruit – If possible pop-tops are preferred • Individually wrapped snack cakes •Tuna They greatly appreciate the blessings they have been given through the years. Their goal is to thankfully receive these blessings of food and help our seniors receive more food. The Neal Sr. Center is now accepting donations. • Dried or box milk (shelf –stable) Mark your calendars for The Council on Aging/Senior Center's upcoming Holiday Bazaar on Friday, November 2, 2012 8:00am-2:00pm.
