Auctions Unlimited held an auction in Ellenboro on Saturday, April 8th, 2017. Colfax Gin equipment auctioned Jerry Lynch and James Searcy wait for the auction to start. Auctioneers Ronnie Causby and Bob Melton of Auctions Unlimited call out bids on farm equipment from the McDaniel Farm. A large crowd bids on items at the auction. Rhett and Claire Royster stayed active during the auction. Bobby Cogdell and his grandson Parker Cogdell re- view farm equipment before the auction. BILLIE "MAW MAW" ANN HAVNER NEAL Mrs. Billie "Maw Maw" Ann Havner Neal, age 86 of Fallston Road, Fallston, NC, passed away on April 6, 2017. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Neal; parents, Clarence Havner and Nell Stove Havner; and a son, Mark Neal. She is survived by a son, Scott Neal of Lawrenceville, GA; two daughters, Donna Neal Jones of Colbert, GA and Wendy Neal Heafner of Fallston, NC; seven grandchil- dren, and one great-grand- daughter. BRONSON BLAKE "JIM" PANTHER Mr. Bronson Blake "Jim" Panther, age 83, of Spindale, NC, passed away on April 5, 2017. Memorial services will be held at Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Panther served our country in the US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wives, Evelyn and Gertrude Panther; and his parents, Martin and Lincie Howard Panther. Mr. Panther is survived by his daughter, Darlene Smith and her husband, Arthur of Spindale, NC; a brother, Martin Panther Jr. of Spartanburg, NC; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Crowe's Mortuary & Crematory is serving the fam- ily. MAVEN BARRETT JACOBSEN HOYLE Mrs. Maven Barrett Jacobsen Hoyle, age 92, of Fallston, NC, passed away on April 5, 2017. Funeral Services were held at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston. Mrs. Hoyle was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry A. Jacobsen; and her second husband, Paul A. Hoyle; her parents, Lester JOSEPH SPENCER MORGAN Joseph Spencer Morgan, age 23, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on March 31, 2017. A memorial service was held at Fairview Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC. Joseph is preceded in death by his father, David Roy Morgan; grandfather, Mike Morgan; and grandmother, Carol Pearson. He is survived by his moth- er, Robin Pheagin Pearson and dad, Tracy; two sisters, Caroline and Amber Pearson; grandparents, Joe and Ila Pheagin and Don Pearson and Rida Morgan. Robert S. Morgan, Jr., Funeral Service Licensee, LLC of Fallston is serving the fam- ily. RUPERT EDWARD HOWARD Mr. Rupert Edward Howard, age 79, of Rutherford, NC, went to be with his Lord on April 6, 2017. A memorial service was held at Crowe's Mortuary. Mr. Howard served our country in the U.S. Navy during the 1950s. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward & Mary Jolley Howard. He attended Wofford College and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the 1950s. Mr. Howard is survived by his sisters, Lynda Trexler and Lydia Howard, both of Greensboro, NC.
