Auctions Unlimited held an auction in Ellenboro on Saturday, April 8th, 2017. Colfax Gin equipment auctioned Jerry Lynch and James Searcy wait for the auction to start. Auctioneers Ronnie Causby and Bob Melton of Auctions Unlimited call out bids on farm equipment from the McDaniel Farm. A large crowd bids on items at the auction. BRONSON BLAKE "JIM" PANTHER Mr. Bronson Blake "Jim" Panther, age 83, of Spindale, NC, passed away on April 5, 2017. Memorial services will be held at Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Panther served our country in the US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wives, Evelyn and Gertrude Panther; and his parents, Martin and Lincie Howard Panther. Mr. Panther is survived by his daughter, Darlene Smith and her husband, Arthur of Spindale, NC; a brother, Martin Panther Jr. of Spartanburg, NC; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He attended Wofford College and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the 1950s. Mr. Howard is survived by his sisters, Lynda Trexler and Lydia Howard, both of Greensboro, NC.
