Mr. Isom Jerry Peace, Jr., 62, of Shelby, passed away on July 23, 2012. A celebra- tion of life service was held at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial followed in Salisbury National Cemetery. Mr. Peace served two terms in the United States Marine Core during the Vietnam Conflict. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Isom James and Ellen Blanton Peace; brother Steven Wayne Peace. Mr. Evans was preced- ed in death by his father Thurman Edward Evans.
